Apply to join our Field Crew
We’re stoked you’re keen to work with us.
We do things a bit differently here at Restore Native so we don't require a CV. Instead, this is your chance to tell us a bit about yourself — who you are, how you work in a team and what makes you want to be outside doing meaningful mahi. Don’t stress about perfect answers — just be honest and be you.
You’ll also need to upload a short video (max 60 seconds) telling us about your connection to nature and what makes you want to work outdoors.

Full Time, Fixed Term (with potential to go permanent)

Adam Thompson - Founder
Adam's love of growing things started as a young boy in his parent's market garden. His family have a history of Farming, Horticulture and Viticulture so growing things is in his blood.
He first started growing natives as a 25 year old and has expanded every year and continues to grow with Restore Native.
As a Cambridge Farmer and with a finance background Adam is motivated to find great, cost effective solutions for native trees on farms.

Previously a Schoolteacher and from a farm in the Manawatu, Hannah joined the Restore Native Team in 2021.

After studying and roles locally in horticulture, James joined the Restore Native Team in 2022 and now oversees on-site planting and logistics.
He's a keen footballer and spends his weekends playing all over the Waikato.
