Instead, this is your chance to tell us a bit about yourself — who you are, how you work in a team and what makes you want to be outside doing meaningful mahi. Don’t stress about perfect answers — just be honest and be you.

Our team culture means everything to us at Restore Native. We’re a diverse but tight bunch who look out for each other, pull our weight and care about doing great mahi. Can you tell us about a time you were part of a team that really clicked — and what you brought to it? What kind of team environment helps you thrive?

Working out in nature and in the field is really rewarding but can be physically demanding at times - we’re often on hillsides, carrying gear and working towards a big planting target. Tell us about how you look after your body to keep your energy up for active days outdoors?

Tell us about a time you’ve worked in / had an experience in tough outdoor conditions — what kept you going and how did you stay motivated to persist or keep productive? 

We care a lot about quality in the work we do — planting properly, getting plant survival rates up, spraying clean release circles. What does ‘a job well done’ mean to you in practical terms? 

We’re always looking for ways to work smarter — whether that’s getting more efficient, staying safer, or learning from each job. Can you tell us about a time you found a better way to do something, or picked up a tip that really helped you improve?

Adam Thompson - Founder

Adam's love of growing things started as a young boy in his parent's market garden. His family have a history of Farming, Horticulture and Viticulture so growing things is in his blood.

He first started growing natives as a 25 year old and has expanded every year and continues to grow with Restore Native.

As a Cambridge Farmer and with a finance background Adam is motivated to find great, cost effective solutions for native trees on farms.
