Lacebark

Description

Lacebark (Hoheria populnea) is a fast-growing, hardy native that’s perfect for restoration projects. With its delicate white flowers, strong structure, and ability to thrive in tough conditions, it’s a top pick.

Fast and Hardy: Establishes quickly, making it great for erosion control and shelter.
Pollinator Magnet: Bees and butterflies love its summer blooms, boosting biodiversity.
Versatile Grower: Thrives in a range of soils, from coastal areas to lowland forests.

How to Use It

  • Plant in open areas, riparian zones, or mixed native plantings for quick cover.
  • Handy to have Lacebark and/or Ribbonwood in your revegetation project
  • Low-maintenance — we recommend releasing in the spring and possibly again in summer, depending on weed growth.

Lacebark is tough, beautiful, and a biodiversity booster. Plant it and let nature thrive!
