Kōwhai - SPECIAL GRADE

We grow two species - Sophora Teterpetra and Microphylla 

Kōwhai is an absolute must in any revegetation project.  They are arguably the favourite plant of Tūī and the annual scrap for the best feeding trees in the spring is a sight to behold. 

Kōwhai prefer forest margins as they only grow to between 5-10m but will bring some much loved bird life and excitement to any revegetation planting.
