Hiring now - Cambridge based | Full-time with flexibility
Restore Native is a growing native plant nursery and ecological restoration business based in Cambridge. We grow native plants and deliver practical restoration projects that improve waterways, biodiversity, land and local environments across the Waikato and beyond.
We’re looking for a capable Finance and Administration Coordinator to help keep the financial side of the business organised, accurate and moving.
This is not a basic admin role. We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of key financial administration tasks within a fast-moving and growing business. You’ll work closely with the business owner and wider team to help bring structure, clarity and accuracy to day-to-day financial operations.
The role includes invoicing, revenue reporting, payroll administration, job costing support, maintaining financial records in Xero, managing stock-related data and supporting staff with finance and admin queries.
Restore Native is not a “same thing every day” type of business. Priorities can shift quickly and no two days are exactly the same. We’re looking for someone adaptable, organised, solutions-focused and comfortable working in a busy environment where initiative and follow-through matter.
The ideal person will have experience in bookkeeping, accounts or financial administration, confidence using Xero, strong attention to detail and a willingness to continuously improve systems and processes.
Stage One - Application Process
As part of the first stage of the recruitment process, please answer the three questions below via the application form and upload a short video introducing yourself.
Your video does not need to be highly polished - we simply want to get a feel for who you are, your background, why you’re interested in the role and why you think Restore Native could be the right fit for you.
Suitable applicants will then move through to Stage Two of the recruitment process. This will include a more detailed application pack, a video from Adam with more information about the role and business, and a further round of questions before interviews begin.
