Pittosporum Crassifolium (Karo)
Like all Pittosporum this is a great pioneer plant for restoration projects.
Karo can often be mistaken for Pohutukawa because of the shape, colour and texture of its leaves. Watching it through the seasons you'll see some big differences with flowers in the spring time and big fruit in the autumn.
Much like it's other Pittosporum Cousins it will grow quickly to around 5m tall and some specimens can get larger.
